Five Hermes-Agent profiles, one job each. desk turns a note from my phone into a brief. scout researches and won’t make a claim it can’t attach a URL to. pen drafts, with no tools. sub reviews on a different model vendor and returns pass or fail. press stages the post, builds the site, opens the PR, makes the cover and queues the social posts.
Coordination runs through Hermes’ own SQLite-backed Kanban board. Every decision that needs me (the angle, approval, the cover, the merge) is a task that blocks itself until I unblock it, so nothing downstream moves without me.
Where it stands: in its first week it published three posts. Publishing to this site, through the same contract, is next. An early attempt to run the gates through Linear was the wrong shape and got dropped, and the pipeline runs in a pinned container after a native install broke on runtime drift. One open issue: the front-desk model still loops when a message arrives without its expected header.
